Hello, my name is Kelly

I am a Christian mother of three children ages 17, 16, and 7 years old. I love what I do and am very proud of my business.

There are three generations of care-givers that work hard to provide quality individualized TLC in a safe family like environment. A warm home where your child(ren) can learn, play and begin to build a positive self image. They will have the opportunity to grow in language, fine motor, large motor and self help skills.

I have been a State of Illinois License Family Child Provider since May 1999. My experience varies from babysitting as a teenager, being a Big Sister through the Fox Valley Big Brothers/Big Sister program and teaching Sunday school. I belong to a Child Care Association. I regularly attend conferences, training sessions, classes and seminars to upgrade my skills and provide the best quality care for all the children I care for. Some children who have come through my doors and are now grown, still come by to visit or will write me.

My home is located on the west side of Elgin.  I have a large fenced yard and two dogs that are very much a part of our child care environment. Nollie is a 12 year old toy poodle. Sadie Beth is a 1 year old Cairn terrier.  Both are friendly and well behaved.  I believe that pets add a great deal to the child care experience, we not only play with them, but take care of them and learn how to treat animals with respect. We also have a Cockatail bird named Star.

Heavenly Angels Child Care has been licensed by the State of Illinois for the care of children from 6 weeks to 12 years.  This means I must maintain the standards for a licensed child care home regarding safety, nutrition and education.  My home is equipped with smoke detectors on every level along with fire extinguishers and electrical safety plugs.  A first aid kit is available. I, along with our care-givers are CPR and First Aid certified. Safe play areas are provided, both inside and outside.
